Its been a while now since I last updated this blog. The reason I’ve been away from writing is that I have preoccupied with designing and making my new Spring 2012 collection for Alice Stories Handmade Jewellery. Its quite a slow process as I try to fit it around all the other errands. The latest set I made is one using genuine pearls and paua abalone shell, that is becoming the focus of my South Pacific collection. I will be releasing the collection in March, so I will keep you posted.
Here are the details for the Paua Pearl set. I created this set using the following components:
Earrings:
- gold plated 925 sterling silver earring posts and butterfly and headpin and jump ring and gold crimp beads
- pair of small Paua Abalone Drops
Bracelet:
- gold plated 925 sterling silver spring clasp, gold beading wire, gold crimp beads,
- one large oval Paua Abalone Shell.
Necklace:
- gold plated 925 sterling silver spring clasp, gold beading wire, gold crimp beads,
- three dark greyl pearls,
- Black Sardonyx Tubes and
- four large Paua Abalone Drops
